BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT THE DENSITY OF IRON NAIL IS MORE AS COMPARED TO WATER(1000 KG

because density of iron is more as compared to water but the ship  is designed a hollow structure as a ship has bigger volume so the buoyant force is which will be greater than the shape so the ship float on water
