When we take carbohydrates containing food first in saliva helps to mix and add saliva amylase to convert food into maltose than it goes to stomach and stomach release hydrochloric acid and than the food goes into small intestine by the help of maltose it converts into glucose and our body can use this glucose to several activities THABK YOU
