Food get started in stomach for about 3-4 hours before moving into small intestine which is major site for digetion and absorption.But why a drunkard gets high much faster

There is nothing to do with `digestion` here. Actually alcoholic drinks contain alcohol. Although,small intestine is the main site of `absorption` ;alcohol present in alcoholic drinks gets `absorbed` in stomach as soon as the drink goes to stomach

Small intestine is the major site of Digestion and Large intestine for absorption
Due to high diffusion rate by alcohol
