Human beings have 23 pairs of chromosome. Please note the following points:
1. Genes present on one chromosome will be present on its pair also.
2. Different genes are present on different chromosome. So genes found on chromosome –1 will not be found on any other chromosome.
3.For eg Chromosome 1 likely contains 2,000 to 2,100 genes that provide instructions for making proteins whereas chromosome15 contains 600 to 700 genes. So every pair of chromosome contain different number and different type of genes.
