The correct answer is B.
In order to solve the question properly you need to use the standard wave eqution in terms of w,lamda and t.

since cos2\Theta = ½(1 + cos2\Theta)
So
y = A/2[1+cos2(2πnt – 2π(x/\lambda)]
Then
y = A/2 + A/2[cos(4πnt – 4π(x/\lambda)]
So Amplitude is A/2
frequency is 2n
and wavelength is \lambda/2.
