Write the determinent as a sum of two determinents in which one contains 1 and other contains a³,b³,c³. From second determinent take abc common and it becomes (1+abc)(1st determinent). Since it is equal to zero and the determinent is non zero because the three vectors are non coplanar hence 1+abc=0 or abc=-1
