Dear Tapasranjan

plane (x/2)+(y/3)+(z/4)=1 cuts the coordinates axes in A,B,C

then co ordinate of point A(2,0,0)

co ordinate of point B(0,3,0)

co ordinate of point C(0,0,4)

now find the side of the triangle using distance formula and then find the area

area= [s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]1/2

where 2s=a+b+c
