If you will see the ranking of top most engineering college of india

BITS is at 6th position

but NIT TRichy is also at 13th position .

both college are good

so it is not advisable to waste 1 more year.

but if your son is not satisfied with tha branch which he has in NIT Trichy.and he has interest in another branch then he should try for BITS 2010.

other wise NIT Trichy is good college and no need to waste 1 more month
