Why in simple cubic lattice there are no octahedral voids? In simple cubic arrangement each atom is surrounded by 6 atoms and this arrangement is obviously octahedral arrangement, but in my physical chemistry book it is written that simple cubic lattice doesnt contains octahedral voids.
