Volume occupied by molecules of one mole of the gas at NTP , each having a radius of 1A° is 1)22.4 L. 2)5.6L . 3)2.5mL . 4)10 mL I found this answer. But how is it? Ans: (4) 10mL Volume of 1 mole of molecules=N×(4v) (b=4v) =(6.02×10^23)(4× 4/3 πr^3) =(6.02×10^23)(4× 4/3 × 22/7 )×(10^-8cm)^3 =10.09 cm^3 or mL

Volume of 1 mole of molecules=N×(4v)
(b=4v)
=(6.02×10^23)(4× 4/3 πr^3)
=(6.02×10^23)(4× 4/3 × 22/7 )×(10^-8cm)^3

See if you study properly vanderwaal equation there is a term that is (V-nb) .what is v and nb?. V is volume of container and b is the volume if a single atom. So nb is the volume of molecules. And b=4*V.
