Maximum magnetic quantum number,m = +2
Now value of m is from -l to +l
This means l = 2
Now, l = 0 to n-1
Therefore, 2=n-1
or, n = 3
Number of waves formed = Principal quantum number or the number of orbit
Therefore, number of waves formed = 3

 Maximum magnetic quantum number m=+2.

The value of m is from l to +l.
So, l=2.

For a given value of n,l can have values 0 to n1.

So, when l=2, n=3.

The number of waves formed is equal to the principal quantum number or the number of orbits.

Thus, the number of waves made by a Bohr electron in an orbit of the maximum magnetic quantum number +2 is 3.
