30th Jan @ 5:00PM for Grade 1 to 10
For preparation of one litre of N/10 H2SO4 solution, we need H2SO4 equal to ; (1) 98gm (2) 4.9gm (3) 10 gm (4) 2.45 gm For preparation of one litre of N/10 H2SO4 solution, we need H2SO4 equal to ; (1) 98gm (2) 4.9gm(3) 10 gm (4) 2.45 gm
you require a N/10 solution i.e.0.1 Normal solution . Normality= Molarity×BasicityAs basicity of H2SO4 is 2, so1 Molar soluation of H2SO4 is equal 2 N solution molecular weight of H2SO4= 98 gmsfor 1 M solution you would require 98 gms = 2 N solution 1 N solution of 1 litre would require 98/2 = 49 gms for a 0.1 N solution = 4.9 gms
