As,
1L= 1000cm^3
And 1dm = 10 cm
So,
2L = 2L × 1000cm^3/1L × 1dm/10cm × 1dm/10cm × 1dm/10cm
Now three 'cm' cancel outs the 'cm^3' and L cancel outs L
Now,
2L = 2000 dm^3/1000
So,
2L = 2 dm^3
