first of all balance the equation as:-
9A + 8BO3 -----3A3O4 +4B2O3 
Now, 
Applying Limiting reagent concept:
9 mole of A --3 mole of A3O4 
so 1 mole of A---0.33 mole of A3O4
Similarly 1 mole of B will give 0.375 mole of A3O4 
so moles of A3O4 formed is equal to 0. 33 mole.
