From the chemical eqn. obtained,
     (NH4)2SO4        +    MnO2            ------------->        MnSO4       +      (NH4)2S2O8
Valence factor for Mno2 = 4 – 2 => 2
moles of (NH4)2SO4 = 2/2 * 1 = 1mol.
Valence factor for (NH4)2SO4 = 2
 
Hence, thirs option (3) is correct.
