A physical adsorption at low temperature may pass into chemisorption as the temperature is increased...
what is the meaning of the above statement??

Physisorption takes place at low temperature because it has low enthalpy of adsorption i.e. delta(H) is almost between 20-40 KJ....
As temp is increased delta (H) increases and it changes into chemiosorption as it takes place at high temperature and it has high enthalpy of adsorption....
