Hi student,
Boiling point is the temperature at which liquid is in equilibrium with its vapour phase. As we know that at boiling point, both liquid and vapour phase exist. It is very clear that the kinetic energy and the potential energy of liquid and gas or vapour phase can never be same.
It only the total energy which remains constant. So the correct answer is C.
