The glass is an amorphous solid. Amorphous solids like liquids have a tendency to flow, though very slowly. Therefore they are sometimes known as pseudo solids or super cooled liquids.When glass is kept for a long time the bottom becomes thicker than the top. This is because the materials in glass flows like a liquid but it is a slow process.
