why methalyne balls dissappear without leaving any liquid after some time?

Dear Ritika..
first of all they are not methalyne balls instead they are moth balls or Naphthalene balls...
answer to your ques above is as follows...
the moth balls have the inherent property of sublimation ie changing directly from solid state to vapour thus they sublime into gaseous state thus without leaving any liquid behind....
