DEAR  SACHIN ,

First of all , how to compare the melting points of solid ? As you know , Solids have cyrstal structures with atoms bonded to  each other via some kind of bondings , which may be ionic , covalent , vander waal forces etc. The strength of this bonding is what  determines the melting point of the solid , i.e the intra-molecular  forces operating inside the solid.

Now , in case of lattice made up of noble atoms , the inta-molecular forces operating are weak vander waal forces which are easier to break with small amount of heat applied. so, melting point is quite low  as compared with ionoc solids like NaCl.

GOOD LUCK !!!!
