Rules are followed according to VBT and VSPER theories like
the atoms bonding together should have the same energy level to get bonded or fir the possibility of the hybridization exists.
For C2H2 to get the hybridization U would need to draw the structure first,
and hence after that U would conclude that the centre atom that is the carbon atom has sp2 hybrodization.
