hydrolith - a saltlike binary compound (CaH2) used as a reducing agent and source of hydrogen.It forms Calcium Hydroxide and Hydrogen on Hydrolysis. 1 mole of CaH2 + 2 moles of water = 1 mole calcium Hydroxide + 2H2. 22.4 litres of H2at STP means 1 mole of H2. is present. i.e 0.5 mole of hydrolith is hydrolysed i.e 42/2 = 21 g is hydrolysed
