how to convert

1) Acetaldehyde to acetone

2) iso-propyl alcohol to n-propyl alcohol

3) n-propyl chloride to isopropyl chloride

For the first one use ch3mgbr and convert acetaldehyde to ch3ch(oh)ch3 and this on reduction with a mild oxidizing agent gets converted into acetone.

For the second one first dehydrate it so that u get a propene which on hydroboration oxidation forms n-propyl alcohol

For the third one first use a dehydrohalogenating agent like alc koh which converts it to propene and the add hcl to forn iso propyl chloride.
