Is benzoic acid more acidic than p-nitro phenol .if yes? Plz explain

yes,benzoic acid more acidic than p-nitro phenol.because in p-nitro phenol electron density is more than the benzoic acid . in aeromatic compounds basic nature is increase with increasing electron density .

All carboxylic acids are more acidic than phenols. The pKa of all carboxylic acids is of the order 3 whereas the pKa of all phenols is of the order 10. Lesser the pKa greater is the acidity.
