Nucleophilicity describes rates of reactions , i.e.,molecule that is more nucleophilic will add faster yo an electrophilic than a molecule that is less nucleophilic while lewis basicity talks about how stable the bond that forms is.Thus, basicity is fundamentally about acid-base equilbria , & about rates of reaction .A stronger base forms a stronger bond to a lewis acid as compared to the  bond a weaker base would form with the same acid.
