Stereoisomers is the second category of isomerism which has 2 branches- geometrical and optical isomerism. (a) and (b) are incorrect because a compound which is not an enantiomer can be geometrical isomer of the other still it is a stereoisomer!
Similar explanation is valid to (b) also.
