hii lakshya .

the simple reason for sp2 not taking part in resonance is the sp2 hybrid is smaller than the sp3 hybrid, so there is a stronger attraction to the nucleus, so less basic.

oxygen atom in acylium ion is sp2 hybridised.

   it is resonance stablised.
