Dear student,

Alkanes get less acidic with more carbons, because of +I [INDUCTIVE EFFECT] effect of long carbon group, which destabilize its conjugate base and thus corresponding conjugate acid is weak, and hence ACIDITY OF ALKANES DECREASES WITH INCREASE IN CARBON CHAIN.
