Ozonolysis is an organic reaction where the unsaturated bonds of alkenes, alkynes, or azo compounds are cleaved with ozone. Alkenes and alkynes form organic compounds in which the multiple carbon–carbon bond has been replaced by a carbonyl group while azo compounds form nitrosamines.
ozonolysis reactions are used to form the o3 compounds in the atmosphere .
2-
Polymerisation is the process of joining together a large number of small molecules to make a smaller number of very large molecules. The reactants (i.e. the small molecules from which the polymer is constructed) are called Monomers and products of the polymerisationprocess are called Polymers.
it is of two types
1- addition polymerisation
2- condensation polymerisation .
wurtz reaction is besically a organic reaction
whereby two alkyl halides are
reacted with sodium to form a new alkane: 2R–X + 2Na → R–R + 2Na+X.
