Electromagnetism is very scoring.Problems of electrostatics,current electricity,magnetism and EMI are easier compared to the problems of Mechanics.
Also, since 2005, IIT has increaesd the weightage of Modern Physics, hence a student has a very high chance to score well in this section.
Problems of wave optics and geometrical optics are also okay, not that tough compared to mechanics.
