As ball B moves towards ball C, so first collision is between ball B and C.
After collision
let vB and vC is speed of ball B and C and are given as vB=(mB−mcmB+mc)vvc=(2mBmB+mc)v     As mc=4mb that is  mc>4mb
from above equations we can say that  has negative signthat after this collision ball B will move in opposite direction towards ball A and ball C will move in right hanTherefore, ball B will make another collision with ball AHence in this case there will be two collisions.
