Respected sir, During the calculation of significant figures in scientific notation we ignore the power i.e 10^n, but for the the first part,do we write all the numbers or do we again check significant figures(after evaluating) in that value? Ex: 4.0100 * 10^-3?-Find no of significant figures. SIGNIFICANT FIGURE is 3 or 5 (5,if and can we write as 4.01 *10^-1)?

there are 5 signifcant figures because it is only 5 digits which are significant to denote the whole number
