Hi, Firstly, draw the v-t graph from this x-t graph. v (= dx/dt) would be constant (20m/s) for first 2 seconds and then would be zero upto 6 seconds and then would be constant (-20m/s) upto 8 seconds. Change in velocity = -20-(20) = -40 m/s time duration = 8 seconds. Average acceleration = -40/8 = -5m/s 2 thanks
