A stone is dropped from the top of a tower 100m high. Another stone is projected upwards at the same time from the foot of the tower , and meets the first stone at a height of 30m . Find the velocity with which the second stone is projected upwards . Take g=9.81ms-2

Time taken by stone1 to cover 70m fall = time take by stone 2 to cover 30 m upwards

(2*70/9.81)^0.5 = t..................i

30 = ut – (9.81/2)*t^2........................ii

use i to find time t
plug in t in eq ii
