When athe girl stands up the centre of mass gets higher which is also the point of oscillation. As a result the effective length will decrease. Now since the time period varies with the square root of the effective length, time period will decrease.

As we learnt in

Time period of oscillation of simple pendulum -

T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{g}}

- wherein

l = length of pendulum 

g = acceleration due to gravity.

 

 

 

The centre of gravity shifted upwards so the length from point of suspension will decrease.

Correct option is 2.
