							To find a unit vector “ n”  perpendicular to two vectors p and q we need cross product of those vectors. Its formula is :n = cross product of p and q vectors/ magnitude of their cross productOr simply we can sayn =( p × q) / |p×q|

							let the perpendicular vector is a.Then a is given by $\vec{a} = \vec{p}X\vec{q}$so unit perpendicular vector$\hat{a} = \vec{a}/|\vec{a}| = \vec{p}X\vec{q}/|\vec{p}X\vec{q}|$Hope it clears.................................................................

							firstly the cross product say p*q gives u the vector perpendicular to both p and qbut u are required to answer the unit vector and not the vector,so u will divide the cross product vector by its magnitudei.e unit vector perpendicular to both p and q is=(p*q)/|p*q|
