It matters what is the merit list this year, as it varies every year, but on practical grounds and on a general note it must be above 95%, otherwise the best practice will be to visit the official website of IIT Guwahati to get the clear picture,...If you got it there, well and good, else there are some other equally good institutions like –CMR College of Engineering and Technology,hyderabad,......RNB Global University, Bikaner,.....Lovely Professional University, Phagwara,............BHU, Varanasi etc.  where you may consider seeking admission, good luck.
