hi i have appeared jee mains 2013 and am sure that i will clear it....and i expect about 93% in 12th boards. can you please tell how much marks do i need to secure to get mechanical in any IIT. since this is the first time i will be sitting for IIt (jee advanced) i am not sure if i will be able to crack it in first chance.

what do u think...should i drop one year for coaching or should i take admission ....my parents and my friends are saying to drop one year for coaching .. but i am not in favour of it
