Hi my score is cming arund 231 in general category....do i stand a chance to qualify and if yes what rank?

if you are getting around 231 then i think you will qualify for jee 2012 with an AIR around 4000-5000.

You are saying that JEE cut off will be too high. http://www.askiitians.com/iit-jee-2012/iit-jee-2012-cutoff.html

On the other hand you are saying that at 231 marks you will get 4000-5000 rank. There is no any match at all. So what to consider?
