you may get any rcently opened iits may be the old ones too(but have to compromise with the branch) because this year every one is expecting cuttoff to go up.........

but in aieee you will surely get nit kurukshetra,bhopal,jaipur,nagpur.......with branch of ur choice......

so go for it....

Hey .. Good rank in IIT JEE .. go for IIT....

IIT any time is better option than any nit . . u getting 245 is nice marks but its enough to fetct u barnches like metallurgy in roorkee or agriculture in iitKGP but u can easily get mech. or cs in new iit . . all is upon u if u wanna drop or not ....  i suggest cracking iit in first attempt in big deal so get best possible thing available at ur rank in iitkgp
