Suppose P is the point between the conductors where net magnetic field is zero.So at P |Magnetic field due to conductor 1| = |Magnetic field due to conductor 2|.....hence when you solve this you will get the answer as 12/7 cm

magnetic field is is directly proportional to I/r
THen in first question
5I/(6-x) = 2I/x
5x = 12 – 2x
x = 12/7 cm.
