A long rigid wire lies along X-axis and carries a current of 10 Amp in a positive X-direction. Round the wire external magnetic field B=i+3x^2j with x in meter and B in tesla. The segment of the wire between x=1 and x=4 is?

∫dF = ∫i(dl×B)
dl=dx i
B= i^ + 2x^2 j^
ii= 10A
integerating x=1 to x=4,
\int_{1}^{4}10(2x^2 dx)

=((20x^3)/3)1 to 4
we get F=420( D)

Thankyouu!

The magnetic force (in SI units) on the segment of the wire between x = 1 m and x = 4 m is given by

\int_{1}^{4}10(2x^2 dx)

=((20x3)/3)1 to 4
 F=420
