a moving charged particle will produce magnetic field around it.....but in general we talk that a eletron produces magnetic field but y not proyon?

Protons circulating in a proton synchrotron produce both an electric field, and a magnetic field. Either or both of these fields can be used to determine the number and position of bunches of protons. This applies for antiprotons too .
