Divide throughout by cos^4x In numerator it becomes (2tanxsec^2x) and denominator becomes (tan^4x + 1) Now you can solve easily by substituting tan2x = u

Convert the cos^4x in denominator into (1-sin^2x)^2 and simplify denominator. Take sin^2x =t and substitute it in the integral to get the answer.
