While studying s block and p block elements,I am finding some extra portions in my coaching package which are not mentioned in ncert.Should I stick to NCERT or study the extra stuff also?

For Board exams NCERT is enough.
Do your mind attention on NCERT chemistry chapters first and foremost and after that move on to Coahing materials.
Sticking to NCERT course strictly that would be perhaps enough for the Jee mains too.
