Ag is a large sized molecule with a high molecular mass and radius. As we go down the group in a periodic table, we observe that the atomic radius generally increases. A large molecule has a better interaction with another large molecule (in this case I), and hence will not dissociate easily, let alone be soluble in another liquid forming new hydromolecular bonds. Thus, the solubility of Ag with halogens decreases down the group. Moreover, bigger is the size of anion, higher is the covalent charcater, and lesser is the solubility in polar solvents.
