melting point of mixture of Na2CO3(sodium carbonate) + K2CO3(potassium carbonate) is lower than that of both Na2CO3 and K2CO3? WHY?

Because the mixture of Na2CO3 and K2CO3 is EUTECTIC MIXTURE. It is mixture whose melting point will be less than any of the components present in it.
