For studying inorganic chemistry first of all one must study periodic table very well including periodic properties ,how these properties changes along a period and down the group..during learning of various blocks and groups the most important thing is properties( physical and chemical) .in almost all exams mostly questions related to coordination compounds,d&f block elements and name of salts and ores (metallurgy) are often asked..
