c-h bond is stronger than c-c bond as it has higher s character. but we know p-p overlapping> p-s overlapping.. in that sense c-c shud have stronger bond than c-h bond.. but it is not . Why???

C-h bond invovlves head-on overlapping whereas C-C bond involves sideways overlapping due to which C-h bond is stronger than C-C bond
