O => 1s2 2s2 2p4
N => 1s2 2s2 2p3
C => 1s2 2s2 2p2
Now every elemnt would try to complete its octet or woul be half filled to attain the maximum stability.
Hence,
Here Carbon seems to attain half filled orbitals and thus to be high stable it would have largest electron affinity.
and
Nitrogen would have least E.A as it is already half filled and stable.
